Akon has reportedly been told to pay $5,000 per month in child support.
The music artist was ordered to give out the sum 12 times each year after he declared his income of more than $40,000 per month.
Akon has previously filed a paternity case against Rozina Negusei because he wanted the court to legally recognise him as father to their two young sons, according to TMZ.
The agreement was to establish custody and child support of the mother of his children, who is not his current partner.
The singer listed his income in the paperwork as $40,708 per month.
Based on that amount a judge demanded him to pay what the system deemed appropriate for the kids' mother to look after them.
Apparently the judge took into consideration that Akon makes six other child support payments.
Ultimately the other parent of Akon's offspring received sole physical custody, according to the website.
